Head Privacy Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
Here's what information Head Tilt collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run your membership, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Email and form answers. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and anything else you choose to share, such as how your dog reacted and their favorite clip.
- Membership and billing details. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email, billing ZIP or address and card details. We receive your name, email, plan and subscription status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- A sign-in cookie. After you subscribe or sign in, we set one cookie (
ht_session) that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It's needed for the service to work and isn't used for advertising. - Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your personal information.
How we use it
- To provide your membership, keep you signed in and unlock members-only channels
- To process payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds
- To send emails you asked for: sign-in links, receipts, account notices, and new-clip updates if you signed up for them
- To understand which clips dogs enjoy so we can make more of them
- To prevent fraud and keep the service secure
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Head Tilt, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe for payments and subscription billing (Stripe's privacy policy)
- Netlify for website hosting and form submissions (Netlify's privacy policy)
- Resend for sending sign-in emails (Resend's privacy policy)
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or Adaptive Innovation LLC.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while your membership is active and as long as needed afterwards for tax, accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your update sign-up information at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from update emails using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
- Update your billing details anytime from Account → Manage billing.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@headtilt.tv. Depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA), you may have additional rights. We won't treat you differently for using them.
Children
Head Tilt is made for dogs and their people. Memberships are for adults, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, card payments are handled by Stripe, and sign-in cookies are signed and can't be read by scripts on the page. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also email active members.
